Tuesday, Feb 1st was Craig doctor's appointment for his arthritis. You may remember he takes injections of Enbrel and has for the past 6 years. Finding doctors that know anything about psoriatic arthritis is a problem. He made this appointment in December. Because he will, again, be a new patient, we had to go to New Orleans for the first time visit.
The wind was blowing and the rain was heavy, at times it was hard to stay on I-55. From Ponchatola to New Orleans the highway is elevated. Then there is New Orleans. We are not city folks, so this is hard for us. But we only got lost once, right at the Superdome. Wow, that place is huge.
Found the doctor's office but a electrical transformer had just blown up and the lights where out. So the 10 story building was on 'lock down'. LOL these security people are excitable.
Didn't see the doc today, they rescheduled for Feb 8th, but in Hammond, Louisiana. Hammond is only about 20 miles from the house. New Orleans office was 73 miles.
What's that old sayin 'Life is what happens when you have other plans'.
While the weather was extreme here, I think we missed the worst of it. Hoping the best for the North and east. They are getting hammered, again.
Had lunch at a Mexican place and spent $200.00 in Lowes.
